Dror Shohet is a filmmaker and visual artist based in London. She has trained in photography, animation, fine art and filmmaking. Her main practice is poetic documentaries engaging with political and ecological issues.

Dror is the recipient of several prizes in the field of art and cinema, including The Israeli Film Council’s Young Filmmaker Award for the development of her documentary film- Sefinat Il Sachra.

In addition to her documentary filmmaking, Dror works in collaboration with visual artists, choreographers, dancers, theatre directors, musicians and academic researchers.
