Emily has worked within participatory dance for over ten years, both facilitating dance experiences and creating opportunities for dance engagement.

She currently works with a range of dance, arts and health organisations, including Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and English National Ballet, and supports choreographers to produce and tour innovative performance work. She has worked on productions that were chosen for the UKs Cultural Olympiad programme, for the Rural Touring Dance Initiative, for Dance International Glasgow, and for Dance Umbrella Festival.

Emily is also interested in capturing the physical, mental and social benefits of dance, and has presented her research findings in France, Netherlands, Russia, Canada, Ireland and England. She is founder of Move Dance Feel Community Interest Company, which offers dance to women affected by cancer, and partners with leading cancer support Centres to integrate dance into their care programmes.
