Ingvild Maria Thingnes comes from Førde, Norway, and holds a BA in contemporary dance from the University of Stavanger (2018), with exchange studies at Escola Superior de Danca in Portugal. During her studies she worked with choreographers such as Hagit Yakira, Sylvia Rijmer, Anton Lachky and Rui Lopes Graca. Following her graduation, she joined the International Dance Program of Vertigo Dance Company in Israel (2019). Ingvild is currently based in Stavanger, creating and performing as a freelance dance artist. She will follow Hagit Yakira's production of If one keeps walking in Stavanger/Oslo 2019 as an apprentice.
