Current or recent projects include collaborations with Jose Agudo for the National Dance Company of Malta, concert pianist Sarah Niccolls (UK), Hannah Ringham (SHUNT), Sharon Watson & Phoenix Dance Theatre, Gary Clarke on Nourish and a MAP Dance commission, Helder Seabra (P/BE), South East Dance, Emese Cornai & Silvia Bennett (H/NL), Jelena Kostic (NL), Compagnie Ubi (FR), Robin Dingemans (UK/SE).

Past work includes working as dramaturg to: Jose Agudo for ACE and Phoenix Dance Theatre; Koen Augustijnen & les ballets c de la b (BE); Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (BE) and Damien Jalet (BE/FR) on the double Olivier Award, and Benois Prize for Dance, winning ‘Babel (words)’ designed by Antony Gormley - now in its 6th year of global touring; & dramaturgical consultant on Cherkaoui and Gormley's 'Sutra'.

Lou teaches dramaturgy and process in a number of HE institutions and has written a number of articles and chapters for books, the most recent being a chapter in ‘New Dramaturgy: International Perspectives on Theory and Practice’ which was published by Bloomsbury in May 2014.
